Thank you to all those who bought bakes from me last week. The pecan tarts were more popular than I anticipated but luckily more supplies arrived just in time for baking on Thursday. I hope you enjoyed yours and they made it to Mother's Day/ other celebrations.

The chocolate theme went well at Old Isleworth Market on Saturday morning - all chocolate babkas, brioche, cookies and knotted buns sold well and my new camembert/ brie brioche with garlic and rosemary won a good few fans - I just wish I had saved some for us. (I will be baking this again soon!) We were of course blessed with great weather and live music from Dan Farrell and our book selling efforts raised over £100 for Ukrainian support. A good day's work.

Bakes on offer this week
This week I have salted caramel Babka, Country Sourdough, Maltster and Hot Cross Buns - traditional buns with fruit and spice and also dark chocolate and spice buns this week. Plus a seeded loaf for the gluten free-ers which I did not manage last week.

#CookForUkraine Babka
Thank you to all those who have ordered babka this month so far. I am continuing to bake babka for the remainder of the month and all profits will continue to be donated to the #CookForUkraine appeal. 

Holiday coming up
To flag that I am planning to take some time off over Easter. I will be baking next Thursday, 7th April then possibly a small selection on the morning of Good Friday, 15th April. This will be confirmed next week.
