Q: When did you start Minecraft Map Making?
A: Around September 2021
Q: What is your favourite map that you've made?
A: Midland. It really made me understand so many new things about minecraft mapmaking.
Q: What is your favourite map that someone else made?
A: Nevas Building's Medieval World Project
Q: What maps are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently just making plans for the story of a sequel to Midland. Aside from that, I am just continuing developing PoM and trying to make it smoother, remodelling bosses in Midland, etc.
Q: What keeps you motivated when working on large map projects?
A: The support from my community over PMC, CurseForge, Discord, etc!
Q: What is a challenge you had to overcome whilst making a Minecraft Map?
A: Time is the hardest challenge. I don't have much of it, and so I have to be as efficient as possible.
Q: What's a feature you would like to see added to Minecraft for Map Makers?
A: DISABLING CROPS FROM BREAKING DUE TO PLAYERS STEPPING ON THEM IN ADVENTURE MODE.
Q: In your opinion, what key components make a Minecraft Map successful?
A: It's like any game. Visuals, gameplay, program, and smoothness.
Q: Have you ever competed in a Map Jam?
A: Nope.
Q: What advice would you have for any aspiring Map Makers?
A: Continue to learn new things that can improve your mapping skills (this includes animation, 3D design, sound design, game design, programming) Minecraft map-making had came a long way. A successful Minecraft map should give players a feel like they are in a different game!
