The reference photo for this piece has been on my phone for at least 3 years. It's the season for it, I guess. The hands aren't green. I wish it were intentional but progress is sometimes a happy accident. They were the last to be worked on but their flatness supported a focus, more abstraction. I'm very happy with this painting and want to attempt a physical study of it just to see the results and what I'll learn from it.
