Wind Symphony Evening Rehearsal
As the band prepares their music for the OSAA State Band Championships, Mr. Riler have enlisted a fantastic resource to work with them this Friday, April 1st for a scheduled evening rehearsal from 6:00 -8:00pm.
Stuart Welsh is the band director at West Albany High School. They have won the 5A Championship several times, and placed in the top 5 of the 6A division a couple times when they were in the 6A division. He has done "Enigma" with his band at West Albany (that is who Mr. Riler borrowed the music from). He is an incredible educator, and we can't wait to watch him work with our ensemble.
The students did a great job in the reading session, and Mr. Riler believes with some sectional work, this clinic, and familiarizing themselves with the piece (listening to recordings), they will have a wonderful set for STATE!
