Romeo and Juliet

American Shakespeare Center

"Smashing...steamy...powerful...dazzling.” Critics are talking about American Shakespeare Center’s new production of Romeo and Juliet, a whirlwind of adolescent passion in a violent, vengeful adult world. In this powerful staging directed by Jose Zayas, we are reminded of the folly of hate, the innocence of love, and the redemptive power of reconciliation.

Now on stage at the Blackfriars Theatre in Staunton.
