  • IMPORTANT REMINDER: Changes to Monthly Service Transitional Payments Qualification - The requirement to do one NMS per month and be signed up for CPCS from January 2022
From 1 January 2022 pharmacy contractors who dispense 101 prescription items or more in any month will receive a monthly Transitional Payment which consists of two separate payments For the pharmacy contractors to receive the monthly service payment of the transitional payment they must have claimed for at least one New Medicine Service (NMS) in the previous month and been registered to provide the Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS) on the Manage Your Service (MYS) platform for greater than or equal to half of the number of full days in the previous month. In our 20th January 2022 newsletter here we covered this in more detail.

East Lindsey PCN split into two PCNs from 1st April 2022

Meridian PCN includes the four pharmacies based in Louth.  All other existing East Lindsey PCN Pharmacies remain in East Lindsey PCN. More details can be found under Primary Care Network Hub on our website here.

There are now two PCN Community Pharmacy PCN Lead vacancies.  Emails will be sent directly to PCN pharmacies shortly.  However, if you would like to put yourself forward as PCN CP Lead for either East Lindsey or Meridian, please email us as info@pharmacylincolnshire.org with the title 'Meridian/East Lindsey PCN CP Lead role' and we will help facilitate the process for the PCN CP Lead role election.  

National Blood Pressure Checks Webinar: Weds 13th April, 7pm

 

You are invited to attend a National Blood Pressure Checks webinar aimed at community pharmacists to help them get started/update them on the service. 


Register here for a webinar on Wednesday 13th April from 7-7.55pm to hear updates on how this service is working and making a difference for patients, why it is so important to the NHS’s plans to prevent CVD and to share best practice and top tips for running the service successfully.
 
Contributors include: Dr Shahed Ahmad, National Clinical Director for CVD prevention, Helen Williams, pharmacist and National Speciality Advisor for CVD prevention, David Webb, Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England and a community pharmacist Jignesh Patel who is successfully offering the service.

Connected Pharmacy: a programme to unlock and integrate pharmacy networks across Lincolnshire
 

Calling all Registered Pharmacy Professionals and their teams, working in Lincolnshire in any sector, this is for YOU!

The world of pharmacy is in the biggest transformation of the NHS ever. For the first time, we have the opportunity to integrate pharmacists, across the healthcare ecosystem, to serve patients more effectively.

Take advantage of an NHS England funded developmental programme.

10th May 7pm - 8.30pm (Zoom) or  17th May 7pm - 8.30pm (Zoom)

To get the most out of the programme we encourage you to attend the launch, workshop 1 and workshop 2 (choose the dates that work best for you).
