VHICF Pray with Vision: Urgent Prayer for Lizelle // Gas Stove Explosion

Hello friends,

I would like to ask you today to pray for one of our sponsored children from Tondo, her name is Lizelle. She lives with her mother and step-father in the slums of Tondo Manila. On Sunday afternoon, after they came back from our mission center in Tondo where they attended our Sunday Service, they arrived home and started to cook their lunch.

Lizelle's mom went out of the house and the child was left with her step-father and other relatives. They used a portable gas stove.

Unfortunately, the portable stove suddenly exploded.

Out of the 8 people who were in their house, one died and the rest including Lizelle were badly injured. They were immediately brought to the hospital.

Thankfully, Lizelle only has first-degree burns and she was discharged today. But she is in immense pain. Of course, we are helping her and her family right now to the best of our ability.

Please pray with us that God will heal those injured and affected by this accident. Let’s specifically pray for Lizelle's fast recovery.

We are so grateful to God that she survived and that her burns are “only” first degree. Let’s pray together that as we do our best in caring for her and assisting her parents, may her body get stronger and heal faster. Pray also that in this time, the whole family will feel supported and loved and see how much Jesus cares for them through our work.
