TAKE THREE - MARCH 29 DIVISION MEETING
Here are three things you should know:
- Campus Village in view
The four-building project is on track to open in fall 2023. In addition to living and learning communities, the village will feature satellite locations of the Student Success Center and University Health Services; community kitchens, lounges and study spaces; a dining hall, market and Starbucks; outdoor spaces; and a transportation hub.
- Housing continuing students
With the addition of 1,800 beds in Campus Village, there will be new opportunities for continuing students to live on campus. A survey of upperclassmen who have shown interest in living on campus is informing the design of processes and amenities that will support students' choice to live on campus.
- Vice president for student affairs search underway
The search committee leading the effort to hire a new vice president for student affairs met for the first time March 28. The names of the committee members are posted on the search website, and the job description, application details and search timeline will be posted when they are available.
