Barn Boards and More-Keeping History Alive

Barn Boards and More is a small family-owned business that has been recycling barns since 2008. They are passionate about giving just about anything made of wood a new life. Old ladders, shabby chic furniture, barn doors, refurbished tables, houseware, etc.

Brett and his team see the potential in every board as they carefully disassemble these dilapidated buildings, saving the weathered wood for future projects. And Amy happily welcomes the lumber, that once built a barn, into her wood shop where they become furniture, housewares, and art…with a storied past.

Located at 521 Water Street the storefront has loads of decor from their signature re-purposed furniture to modern farmhouse linens, flowers, glassware and lots more in one half of the retail space. The other half has a large supply of reclaimed wood and hardware suitable for your own building projects. They also offer workshops that give people a chance to build and create their own handmade pieces. The next time you are looking to freshen up your space with something old or new, or have a project in the works make sure you head to Barn Boards and More where the friendly staff can you help you find just the right pieces! Follow them on Facebook and Instagram for current projects they are working on and workshops they are offering.

Visit their website barnboardsandmore.com for more information. You can also call them at (207) 213-6777.
