April Newsletter

As we enter a new month, each classroom will begin a new study: Insects! All of our classrooms will be exploring this topic, but we will also continue to develop social emotional, literacy, math, science, language, and physical skills throughout the preschool day. We'll be sharing some of our work with you during the last week of April at our Art Show (more info below).

Important Dates:

April Tuition payment is due!

Tues. April 5, 4:00-8:00 pm--Dinner Fundraiser at Breckenridge Brewery

Mon. April 11 & Weds. April 13, 10:00 am--Easter story in the Sanctuary (parents are welcome to stay after drop off and join us)

Tues. April 26 & Thurs. April 28, 1:00 pm--Art Show (more info below)

You are invited to attend our Art Show on Tuesday, April 26 & Thursday April 28 at 1:00 pm. Please sign out your child at 1:00 and together you can head upstairs to the Narthex to view your child's artwork. Other family members are welcome to attend!

The TK class will be attending the Art Show on Tuesday, April 26.

If your child attends 4 or 5 days, please be sure that there is an adult able to attend with the child on both days.

Coming Soon...Procare Parent App!
We are in the process of launching the Procare parent app. Parents can use the app stay up to date on your child’s daily activities, milestones, and more! We can send you photos and videos of your child, as well as keep you in the loop on upcoming events and time-sensitive information. We'll also be using the app for check in and check out, and you'll be able to pay tuition there as well.

On April 11, you will receive an email from Procare with a unique 10-digit code and instructions on how to download and log into the the app. Please set up your account as soon as you can after receiving your invite, as we will begin using the app for sign in/sign out during the week of April 18.

Our staff is excited to try using this new tool as a way to strengthen and streamline our communication with families.

The Children's Ministry at St. James Presbyterian Church is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 16 at 10:00 am. Preschool families are invited to join us!

St. James Presbyterian Church invites all of our preschool families to join their Holy Week Services.

Maundy Thursday--April 14, 7:00 pm
Good Friday--April 15--7:00 pm
Easter Sunday--April 17, 9:00 am

The services will also be live-streamed on the St. James You Tube Channel.
