A Note From our Partner

Every year, spring offers a new opportunity to revive that which needs nurturing. As with any restorative project, the proper tools are needed to get the job done. Delivering crisis services and transforming care systems are no different.

RI Delaware was excited to be one of the pilot programs when DTRN launched in the State. Today, DTRN remains one of the most important items in the RI Delaware toolkit to direct the over 450+ monthly referral exchanges we receive within the platform.

We use DTRN to receive referrals from local emergency departments and other agencies throughout DE, MD, and PA. Our teams use the platform to arrange transfer and continuity of care services, and our peers use it to connect guests to services according to provider recommendations and individual goal plans.

In a crisis setting, time is of the essence. By implementing DTRN, the request for outpatient services is contained in a simple document, ultimately saving time. We will continue to use both the administrative capabilities the DTRN team provides for data tracking as well as peer and clinician training so that we can use the system’s full capacity. This enables us to be efficient in assisting our guests in connecting to them to needed services. The RI Delaware team is excited about what this season will bring as we continue to partner with DTRN to transform lives – the RI way. #WeServeDEStrong

Time for Spring Cleaning!

Now is a great time to freshen up your workflows to get the most out of the DTRN tool. These simple steps will help you to utilize the DTRN system more efficiently while helping other organizations access your organizations’ resources:
  • Remove users who are no longer with the organization
  • Update bed availability daily
  • Update the comments section to state clearly what your organization provides.
  • Indicate whether the patient showed up using the ‘show/no show’ feature
  • Validate and confirm that your contact and service info is accurate
  • Update your hours of operation
You can manually add/remove users in your organization. Additionally, your site administrator can update demographic information such as name changes, service addresses, and much more.

You can reset your password at the DTRN home page. Just click on “Forgot Password” to create a new one.

You can use the Level of Care (LOC) functionality in DTRN to help you determine care if you are unsure. Select the drop-down option by your name to help determine what care is needed based on the information you provide.

Contact your site administrator with questions! If you are unsure who your site administrator is, please reach out
