Remote Media Workshops for Disabled Artists
Remote digital media workshops for D/deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent artists.

This is an Arts Council England-funded pilot project will offer free, remote, accessible, digital media training and mentoring for a small group of D/deaf, Disabled, and/or Neurodivergent artists (working in any art form), who are based in England.

The project aims to help artists develop their skills and confidence to create high-quality short video or audio pieces to document or showcase their artistic practice, using their smart phone or tablet and simple editing apps.

The opportunity is for people with little or no experience of creating short video or audio pieces using their mobile device.

The project will be delivered via Zoom during May-August. Digital media practitioners Mike Smart (he/him) and Nick Fogg (she/her) are partnering with DASH, and visual artist and neurodiversity in arts consultant, Gaia Redgrave to deliver the pilot.

More details coming soon. Please keep checking the DASH website, social media and newsletter for further announcements.
