Transition Update
At the March Meeting, St. Mark's Vestry unanimously voted to hire our own Kathy Boyer as our Search Consultant. Kathy is an active member of St. Mark's, has completed the Diocesan required trainings, and comes highly recommended by Canon Stuart Wright, our Diocesan Canon for Transition (a Canon is equivalent to a Vice President position).

The Vestry continues to move along the Transition Timeline laid out by the Diocese. Continue to follow the e-news for updates.
Interim's Update
I commend the Vestry's choice of Search Consultant, Kathy Boyer, and I am delighted to be working with her and our Senior Warden, Ron Luman, as St. Mark's continues to pray for and prepare for welcoming its next Rector.

The picture above shows DreamBuilders desks recently built for students in Howard County and Baltimore County. Four of the desks will be given to students who are Ukrainian refugees.

A few other highlights:
  • Diocesan Green Omicron Phase continues, and our worship services are mask optional.
  • Surveys are available on the Bishop's Search page, and responses are due by this Monday, April 4th
  • April 6th will be our last Lentflix night - we will be watching an episode of JAG while discussing justice and grace. There is a link to Sign-Up Genius in the box below if you would like to bring a food item to share.
As we continue to pray for our friends in Christ in Ukraine, here is a Prayer for the Human Family:

O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (BCP p.815)

Please continue to pray for St. Mark's in your prayers and for the next Rector. God be with us as we prepare for Holy Week, and take care.

Yours in Christ,
Lisa+
Interim Rector

This is an exciting way to see the workings of the Port of Baltimore from a rarely seen view.  Since St. Mark’s is a steady supporter of BISC, we get eight complimentary seats.  Anyone who is interested should contact Rich Roca (rtroca@comcast.net) no later than April 12 to sign up.  It will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Food Pantry Delivery Ministry
If you verbally signed up to take donated food from St. Mark's to the Guardian Angel Food Pantry, you should have received an email with a signup genius link. You'll find that link here.
If you signed up but did not receive the email, please let Diane Roca (dbroca@comcast.net) know of the omission so that we can rectify it.
If you have not signed up but would like to volunteer, please follow the signup genius link above, you will find some information about the process.
     Thanks to all!

Ushering at St. Mark’s

Your usher team is looking for more congregants to assist in performing this important ministry.  With a few more people, we will have enough team members so that each of us will serve about once a month.
You’ve seen what we do! Please volunteer so you can do it too!
Contact Randy Scourtis at
trscour@gmail.com or 410.707.2651 to join!

Altar Guild: New Members Invited!
