Yes, it’s April Fools’ Day. But your friends in FTF communications are serious people. We don’t go in for pranks, shenanigans or high jinks of any kind. Strictly business. So let’s get right down to it: here are some new communications tools and resources to help you be more efficient and effective in your work.
New and improved FTF photo library
We’ve made some changes to our photo library to make it easier for staff to access FTF photos for use in presentations, reports, flyers, etc. (No, this isn’t a gag. We’ve always had a library of photos of Arizona children and families.) To access the library, find the link on the Intranet/Sharepoint homepage under Communications and Branding. Or, you can use this direct link to access the library while not on the FTF network. (Pro tip: save that link to your toolbar for future use.) We’ve also created a quick tutorial video to show you two easy ways to download photos. (Also not a joke. It’s a real, actual tutorial video. No Rick Astley, no dogs playing hockey.)
Don’t get unsubscribed when forwarding our newsletters
Forwarding any of our newsletters is a great way to share FTF information and resources with your network. But did you know that anyone who receives your forwarded copy can unsubscribe you from our mailing list? (No kidding.) That’s because the link at the bottom of each newsletter we send you is connected to your email address. Here’s how to avoid being inadvertently unsubscribed when forwarding our newsletters: before you hit send, simply delete the text and links highlighted in the image below from the footer of the newsletter.
Updated FTF Style Guide
The FTF Style Guide has been updated for 2022. One of the new, noteworthy clarifications is to the entry about FTF regions in tribal regions. Take a look at that entry and the entire style guide here. As a reminder, you can't download the guide because we don't want old, outdated versions floating around. Please bookmark the link and use it whenever you have a question about FTF style. And if something isn't addressed in the style guide, send Ofelia Gonzalez a note and it will be reviewed at CIT.
That’s all for now.

Thank you for your attention to these matters.

All done.

Really, no oddball links this time…

fine.
