Here's what's happening at Regis University this month.



Food Bank of the Rockies Mobile Food Pantry Distribution Site at Regis 
9-11 a.m.
April 5 and the first Tuesday of the month indefinitely
Parking Lot 6
Regis University is proud to partner with the Food Bank of the Rockies to offer a Mobile Food Pantry on the University’s Northwest Denver campus. The pantry will be open the first Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. (or until the food runs out) in Parking Lot 6. Enter Lot 6 from 50th Avenue between Federal and Lowell Boulevards. Everyone – regardless of income level, immigration status, religious affiliation, etc. – is welcome to visit the mobile food pantry to receive canned food, fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy and meat products. No one will be turned away.  


Easter Egg Hunt Returns

Boettcher Commons
The University's annual Easter Egg Hunt is back! Open to toddlers to kids up to 14 years old, the hunt begins at noon sharp on the Regis quad, Boettcher Commons. Bring your own baskets to hold the found treasures.


Regis Easter Mass Schedule
Community members are always welcome to attend Mass in the St. John Francis Regis Chapel. Come celebrate Holy Week with us. Special services are planned for the following dates:

Palm Sunday (April 10): 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Holy Thursday (April 14): 7:30 p.m.
Good Friday (April 15): 3 p.m.
Easter Vigil (April 16): 8:15 p.m.
Easter Sunday (April 17): 10 a.m.

Horseshoe Market Comes to Regis University

North Denver’s beloved Horseshoe Market is moving to Regis University! Established in 2010, Horseshoe Market is an indie craft flea market that hosts pop-ups around the Denver metro area, showcasing hundreds of local makers, artists and vintage collectors, food trucks and more. Swing by Regis University's Parking Lot 3 (50th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard) on May 7 — and again on Sept. 24 — to snag your “lucky finds.”  Learn more about the Horseshoe Market here.  


RegiRama: Regis University’s Summer Outdoor Movie Series Returns

Regis University’s summer outdoor movies series returns for its second year. We’ve got another great line-up of movies and delicious food trucks. Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, leashed dogs and all your friends for this family-friendly (and free!) night under the stars.

June 10: Encanto with Arepas CO Venezuelan Kitchen and Happy Cones food trucks
July 8: The Princess Bride with What Would Cheesus Do? and Rebel Cookie Dough food trucks
Aug. 12: Luca with Barbed Wire Reef and Sweet Cow food trucks

Rapids Youth Soccer Elite Performance Center to Open on Regis Fields
Regis University and the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club are partnering to establish the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Elite Performance Center and bring premier youth sports to Regis’ Northwest Denver Campus starting in May.

Regis and Rapids Youth will also partner to offer academic college scholarships — worth up to $100,000 over four years — to qualifying youth participants in the club. In addition, there will be internship opportunities within the club for Regis University students. Read more.

Have you seen a Regis women’s softball or a men’s baseball game this spring? April 9 is your best chance, with both teams hosting double headers! You can always walk or bike to campus, but if you’re driving, head to Lot 7 via Federal Boulevard (find it on this map) to get closest to the ball fields. Women’s softball games are at noon and 2 p.m. Men’s baseball games are at noon and 2:30 p.m. Get your tickets here.

Adams County to Roll Out Parking Program
Adams County is rolling out its first parking district in the Berkeley neighborhood as part of its new Neighborhood Parking Program. This spring, the program will begin managing permit parking within the district. Learn more and view the map.
