Apply to be a Global Penn Student (GPS) Navigator!

Are you an undergraduate or graduate student who is passionate about sharing your experience to help incoming international students navigate life at Penn? We're now accepting applications for Global Penn Student (GPS) Navigators!
As a GPS Navigator, you'll share your story, manage virtual and in-person events, engage with new international students during Summer 2022, and more. You'll also gain valuable leadership and community-building experience, in addition to the opportunity to grow your skillset in areas such as content creation, graphic design, event management, and more.

Eligibility: All undergraduate and graduate international students who will be enrolled at Penn through at least the end of Summer 2022.

ISSS has moved to a new office!

Our new office is located on the third floor of St. Leonard’s Court. To reach us, you will need to use the main entrance on 39th Street and display a green PennOpen Pass to the security guard on site before walking proceeding to the elevators on your right (select floor 3A). On the third floor, you will find our office in Suite 305 immediately to the right of the elevators. Please note that all advising will continue to be offered virtually.

Get Involved

Language Chats Program at the Grad Center provides opportunities for students to practice a foreign language in an informal social setting. Language chats are not a class but are instead a fun way for students to strengthen their language skills and meet other practiced speakers in a target language. Chats are offered in French, German, Mandarin, and Spanish.

Free Chinatown Bus Charter is Back!

Explore Philadelphia's Chinatown with your Penn peers! This Penn Charter Service is for Penn students, post-docs, staff, and faculty. Reserve your seat(s) to and from Chinatown. Be sure to register for seats to Chinatown AND seats back to Penn, if needed.

Apply to be a Penn Anti-Violence Educator!

Applications to become a Penn Anti-Violence Educator for the 2022-23 academic year are now open. Penn Anti-VIolence Educators are undergraduate student workers employed by Penn Violence Prevention to facilitate workshops and consent circles for fellow students on topics including consent and bystander intervention.
