1. This Sunday: Lunch after Church
|
|
|
This Sunday, Guest speaker Conrad Au will be joining us and sharing our last Psalm of the series! Come join us in person or online. Stick around after the gathering for Lunch with the Leaders too! Bring your lunch or grab lunch from the dining hall before chillin' in the dining tent near residence. Its a great time to be in community and connect together!

2. The Johnson's are Coming!
|
|
This Sunday, The Johnson's begin their journey! Keep Mac & Grace in your prayers as they begin their long, long drive across the country and into Canada.
Pray for a safe and easy journey,
smooth border entry,
and all the excitement.
Once Mac & Grace get to Canada we want to give them time to settle in.
*Note* they will be at church on April 9th, for their installation Ceremony (YAY!) but the week of the 9th, we are encouraging them not to work ( note* this means "we are telling them no working, even if its the easy/fun parts")
Rather we hope they focus on settling into a new home, country, and space.
I (Rachel), kindly ask that you too give them a chance to settle in, (note* this means "no, seriously, give them space"). We want them to relax from the long drive, find an internet provider, and all the other things.
Now, I know thats easier said than done, so if you're too excited to wait, help us bless them with the Meal Train! Sign up for a day you can bless them with food while they settle into their new home.

Easter is just around the corner!
We are excited to be back for our full Easter weekend this year!
Good Friday
Join us at 5pm at Burnaby Mountain Park. Bring your communion items and a blanket. Come remember Jesus' sacrifice for us as the sun sets.
Saturday Easter Festival & Egg Hunt
We are back this year for our jam packed hour of fun! Join us at 10am near the SFU observatory for face painting, sidewalk chalk, bunny ears, the egg hunt and a possible Bunny sighting! Tell your friends! And if you can help with the festival let us know below!
Sunday Gathering
Join us in the Saywell Atrium & online on Easter Sunday at 10:30 as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection! Invite a friend and come share in the joy that our Redeemer lives!
