NO ONE IS DRIVING, EVERYONE IS RIDING
Seamus Hubbard Flynn's Honor Thesis Concert

April 9 at 7pm
Grant Recital Hall

No One Is Driving, Everyone Is Riding is Seamus Hubbard Flynn’s Honors Thesis concert featuring Ben West ’22.5. Seamus’ description of the work follows:

The first public interpretation of a text-based open score for any vocalist, any instrumentalist, and digital visuals. This is an outgrowth of a years-long process of starting to love my body a little bit, composing contexts instead of sounds, and improvising to cultivate safety in the apocalypse. Expect amplified tiny noises and some screaming. Endless thanks to collaborator Ben West ’22.5 and thesis advisors Wang Lu and Butch Rovan. Poster art by Hannah-Rose Albinus.

A visual non sequitur for your refreshment...
