Funding 

Wildlife Conservation Society Climate Adaptation Fund
Up to $2.5 million available for two purposes. 1. Adaptation implementation projects that apply innovative approaches to conservation actions designed to help wildlife and ecosystems adapt to climate change. 2. Adaptation mainstreaming projects that work to facilitate the conditions necessary to increase the uptake of an adaptation approach with known benefits. Due April 8.
EPA Environmental Information Exchange Grant
 States, tribes, inter-tribal consortia, and territories are invited to submit applications with a goal(s) supporting the three funding areas. Assistance agreement applicants can apply under one, or multiple, of the three FY22 funding areas listed below within a single application. Applicants should note that all three EN funding areas are of equal priority and that there is no preference given for applications that support more than one. Due May 1, 2022, max $400,000 per applicant.
National Forest Foundation Matching Awards Program
 The National Forest Foundation is pleased to announce that it is currently soliciting proposals for its Matching Awards Program (MAP). MAP is a national, competitive grant program that provides federal funds for on-the-ground projects benefiting America's National Forests and Grasslands. USDA Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program
This program provides affordable funding to develop essential community facilities in rural areas. An essential community facility is defined as a facility that provides an essential service to the local community for the orderly development of the community in a primarily rural area. Open to federally recognized tribes, check your state for specific details on size eligibility or contact your local office for more information.
Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities
Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities pilot projects must focus on the on-farm, on-ranch or forest production of climate-smart commodities and associated reductions of greenhouse gas emissions and/or carbon sequestration. First funding pool for large scale projects ($5M-$100M) due April 8. Second funding pool ($250K-$4.9M) due May 27. Click here for more info.

Network for Landscape Conservation Catalyst Fund
They invite partnerships led by Indigenous peoples, organizations, and communities working to advance Indigenous landscape conservation priorities to apply. Indigenous-led Partnerships may focus wholly on sovereign tribal lands and/or on conserving Indigenous interests, territories, and rights across a broader landscape. Due April 22, max $335,000.

Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) 
$225 million is available nationally for projects that address natural resource issues on agricultural land. This year’s funding includes updates that encourage projects to address climate change, benefit historically underserved farmers, and support urban agriculture. The Water Research Foundation Funding
The Tailored Collaboration (TC) Program is a matching program designed to support utility-specific/regional issues. It provides an opportunity for subscribing utilities to partner with WRF in regional research projects or projects that address issues of interest to a significant subgroup of WRF subscribers. The program receives 20% of WRF’s allocated budget each year. Pre-proposals are due by 5:00 pm ET on June 6, 2022.

Upper Missouri River Basin Drought and Human Health Workshop
Held at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. The workshop is tailored around regional drought-related human health impacts and will help identify gaps and needs, collaborative opportunities, and ways to integrate the health sector into existing drought activities. The geographic focus of this workshop in the Upper Missouri River Basin includes Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. April 12-13, 2022. 
North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center Climate Solutions Days 
Join the NC CASC in an à la carte offering of presentations, workshops and trainings scheduled throughout the week where scientists and practitioners will share insights on climate change impacts from findings in the North Central region. Themes woven into panel presentations, working groups, listening sessions, trainings and tools include: Climate Impacts and Adaptation in the North Central Region; Science Tools & Applications; Tribal Partnerships in Climate Adaptation; Future of Fire; Grasslands Synthesis Project; Science Communication; and Stakeholder Needs and Outreach. NC CASC Tribal Partnerships Webinar
This session of the Climate Solutions Days will highlight ways tribal resource managers partner with the NC CASC to address climate impacts. 12th Annual National  Tribal GIS Conference

The NC CASC is part of the National Climate Adaptation Science Center and one of eight regional climate centers created to help meet the changing needs of land and managers across the country. The NC CASC is a partnership between the US Geological Survey and CU Boulder, created to foster both innovative and applied research, in support of natural resource management to address the needs of tribes and tribal organizations.
