Happy April Everyone!
It's cliche to mention, but family does come first. Seems like our time is occupied raising kids, and taking care of elderly parents.
One of the reasons Jeff and I moved back to Iowa from Seattle was so we could be here for our families. About 10 years ago, we lost both our fathers and Jeff's mother. For the last 6 weeks, my mother has been in the hospital. She's had a stroke, carotid artery surgery, pneumonia, and assorted other issues. I'm not lying when I've felt like the universe is trying to kill her. Thankfully, it failed. I'm able to say, she's home on the mend and I've been able to get back to making art.

Look What Emerged From the Kiln While I was Gone!
Figuring out how to translate my marks onto clay has been thrilling. I've been doing a lot of "pouring", silkscreening, mono printing, and painting directly on the surface.
