Free Learning Series "Little Kids, Big World" Featured at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum
BISMARCK, N.D. – Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series "Little Kids, Big World" at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
"Little Kids, Big World" classes are offered in a large public space with social distancing considerations. Each child is provided with their own supplies. Children and their parents or guardians are asked to meet at the east entrance information desk.
May 8 "Happy Mother’s Day!" 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Join us as we listen to a story about mothers, and make a gift for the mom in your life.
May 14 "We’re Going on a Dinosaur Hunt!" 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Hunt the Heritage Center grounds for dinosaurs that escaped!
May 21 "Parachute Landing," 2:30 and 3 p.m. Did you know that you can safely help an object land using a parachute? Join us as we create parachutes to help our creatures land safely.
"Little Kids, Big World" is led by Sarah Fox, who has teaching endorsements in STEM 1-8, middle school 5-8, and kindergarten, and has taught for more than 10 years.
