Try out cannabidiol (CBD) oil for alleviating your aches and pains. It can be taken as a dietary supplement or used externally to reduce inflammation, help manage pain and improve mental health disorders.

The helpful uses of CBD

Where can you “C” it? CBD oil is available in capsules, pills, drinks, beverages and foods and as ointments and salves, as wax for vaping and as a liquid. This dietary supplement and treatment can be found in many natural food and supplement stores or dispensaries and can be ordered online from many distributors.

Not getting high off this supply. CBD is a component of the cannabis plant that has been separated from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive cannabinoid responsible for feelings of being “high.”

How it can help. The human body has an endocannabinoid system that produces endocannabinoids, neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors. The specialized system regulates a variety of body functions like sleep, appetite and more. Ingesting CBD affects endocannabinoid receptor activity, which makes a difference in inflammation and nervous system responses.

Who’s using it? Though more CBD studies are needed, patients with cancer-related symptoms, those with rheumatic disease, people suffering from anxiety and mental health disorders and many others hoping to improve their life experiences are integrating this natural remedy into their health and wellness journey.

The first recorded use of cannibis was as a medicine in China circa 2,700 B.C.*
Check out how it’s still being used today.
