Business Education Series:
Paving & Parklet Community Forum
Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 9 AM
This community forum will feature presentations from City officials about two important changes facing the downtown this summer, a permanent parklet/outdoor dining program, and the downtown paving project. Businesses are encouraged to attend to learn information and share their perspectives and opinions. Thanks to our partners at the City of SLO for coordinating.

Only two more band sponsorships are needed for the 2022 Concerts in the Plaza season! As a band sponsor, you receive:
- Your business name on Concerts in the Plaza posters
- Mention in all advertising (radio, TV, print) the week of the sponsored concert

Kid's Night at the Farmers' Market
Calling all kid-centered businesses and organizations! We're inviting you to participate in Kid's Night at the Downtown SLO Farmers' Market on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 6–9 PM. This is a great opportunity to engage with children and families, inform them about your business/organization, and provide activities/give out goodies. There is no participation fee!

When to call a Downtown Ambassador
If you are a Downtown business owner, please reach out to our Ambassadors if you need any assistance.
Services available at no charge include:
- Removing graffiti
- Sidewalk gum removal
- Cleaning up trash from sidewalks and gutters
- Removing weeds from sidewalks and streets
- Cleaning public trash cans
- Cleaning public benches
- Cleaning messes
Additionally, if there’s a situation you aren’t sure how to handle, our Ambassadors may be able to point you in the right direction.
