Speaker Bio
Michelle E. Garza, GSI Master Plan Project Manager, is a Planning Coordinator in the Ecological Engineering Department’s Planning Unit at the San Antonio River Authority where she’s worked for more than six years. There she works to educate, manage projects, and develop sustainable stormwater solutions to improve water quality and the environment. Ms. Garza has an Environmental Science Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA ). She is currently working toward her M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning at the UTSA where she hopes to learn strategies for implementing low impact development, green stormwater infrastructure into planning for the River Authority’s four county jurisdiction.
