Capitol Defense Event set for April 21st in Columbia, SC
I’d like to personally invite you to attend the upcoming cyber-security conference, Capitol Defense 2022 at the Columbia Museum of Art on April 21st.
The Teneo Group, UofSC, Gigamon, Claroty, KnowBe4, and Check Point are sponsoring this year’s conference, which will focus on cyber resiliency, the role of law enforcement and state govt. in cyber response, and the expansion of cyber education partnerships statewide.
Our goal is to provide cyber awareness and foster thought leadership for public and private sector policymakers, business leaders, and workforce developers.
Speakers and panelists include Shane Simmons, SCDEW; Cindy Starns, FBI; Sean Fay, SC CIC, and Check Point’s own Dan Wiley and Eddie Doyle.
There will be a reception afterward, which we hope will be an opportunity for students, faculty, government, and private sector leadership to network and build relationships.
Your presence would be highly valuable, and visible, support to the efforts we’ve all discussed: workforce and economic development with a dash of actual security improvement for the state.
