He is Alive!
Jesus is Alive! This is the wonderful news of Easter and because He is alive as we walk in faith we see His work everywhere and in all kinds of ways. Here are a couple:

Naomi is Home !

This monday we brought Naomi Joy Stryd home! What a wonderful day! After 2 long months with Kristine in the hospital for a month and then Naomi in the NICU it was very surreal to leave the hospital for the last time.
It has been challenging but God has been so faithful and good to us in the process and used so many people near and far to bless us and provide for us! Thank you for your part in that!

Naomi is doing well! She left the hospital at about 5.5 lbs and is eating and growing well. It has been great for Caleb and Evette to get to spend time with her.

Naomi's birth is a testimony to us and many many people that Jesus is alive, hears prayer, and in his mysterious and marvelous ways works out a plan for our lives that though at times is inexplicable and challenging, is also gloriously beautiful in its time.

Easter Celebration

“Jesus is Alive!” was also the message of our Easter meeting on Saturday. We had a great time together with a worship service, kids program and extended time afterwards for conversations and fellowship.
An Albanian believer named Lorenc shared the message and Fanjola, who had been hospitalized and near death because of COVID, shared her testimony of God's work in her life during that time.
Besides the usual group of families we had a number of visitors, including a couple of the families that I have been helping the last 6 months with various needs. Another family that joined us lives in the area and though the wife has been to a couple of our gatherings, it was the first time her husband, AJ, joined. I and others had some great conversations with him and in their lives there is definitely a longing for a community and connection that makes them open to the gospel.
Gathering together was very good, both for the fellowship among the believers and for the opportunity to invite and connect with new people. Would you pray that God allows the seed of his Word planted in these lives to grow and blossom into new life!

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support of our family and ministry!  May the Lord Jesus fill you with joy and peace knowing that He is alive!
