Hello Marianne. Kathy asked I introduce myself and send you an update on sales activity in the Massapequa Seasons Community.
Over the past 3 years the Real Estate Market on Long Island has been up sharply due mainly to the short supply of available homes. This trend remains in place today and we expect that will continue to provide overall price support.
In The Seasons, that has translated into big price gains for sellers since 2020. Now is great time to sell a property there. Click the link below to see the 2nd floor units that are currently pending under contract. The accepted prices for the 4 units range from $550,000 to $589,000.
Currently, there are no homes actively being sold in The Seasons. However, spring always brings more homes to market which means greater competition for the most qualified buyers. In addition, mortgage interest rates have gone up significantly in 2022. That's made it more expensive to buy a home than in 2021. We can go over all of this in greater detail when we meet.
