This photo was taken in front of a colorful display during Lunar New Year celebrations in Singapore. Jamie is currently studying Computer Science abroad at the National University of Singapore.

This photo was taken in an abandoned building Andrew found in France, with a background of the Pyrenees Mountains. He visited France on a semester break while studying Applied Mathematics and Economics at University College Dublin in Ireland during Fall 2020.
The World Is Your Classroom: Haneen Abdel-Nabi
When Haneen, her fellow CWRU study abroad students, and their faculty program leader were walking the streets of Cordoba, Spain during Winter Break 2021, they spotted a street artist writing names in Arabic. Professor Islambouli gifted all the students their names in Arabic while teaching on the history of the language in Spain.
Cultural Experience: Hannah Allen
This is a photo of Hannah in front of the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea. Hannah, an English and Sociology double major, studied abroad twice: Spring Semester, 2020 at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Fall Semester 2021 at Sogang University in Seoul.

- First Trip Scholarship
- This scholarship supports students who have never travelled outside of the United States. First Trip values the philosophy of global citizenship and promotes travel to non-traditional study abroad destinations. First Trip scholarships are awarded up to $1,500 and are determined by applicant need.
- Diverse International Women of Color Summer 2022 Scholarships
- This scholarship is intended to assist women of color who are exceptional in their studies and in need of financial assistance to study abroad. DIWC will award (3) $500 scholarships to women of color who have been accepted to a In-Person Summer 2022 Study Abroad Program. Applications close May 1, 2022.
- CLS Spark!
- The U.S. Department of State is launching a new language initiative—CLS Spark! Open to U.S. undergraduate students, CLS Spark provides virtual language instruction in one of three critical languages: Chinese, Arabic or Russian. Applications are open now!
