Refuge - A Calvary Chapel Church
It is Written

If the life of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of John were like any normal biography, everything would end in John 19 with the death and burial of Jesus. But the Gospel of John is not any normal biography. It is a record of the greatest true story every told. That’s why there is John 20.

In this chapter, we meet three individuals who encountered Jesus in real and tangible ways.

We meet John, who believed because of what he understood intellectually after seeing after observing the evidence for the resurrection.

We meet Mary, who believed because of what she experienced in her heart as she saw and clung to the Jesus, who rescued her from suffering and such shame.

And we meet Thomas, who stubbornly refused to believe even after seeing Jesus until he touched the wounds of Jesus with his own hands.

All of this was recorded for YOU—so that you could read of Jesus, hear of Jesus, and encounter Him in an even more tangible way than even these three could.

Watch our study from Sunday as we considered Jesus—who overcame the grave so that we could enjoy eternal life with Him!

Parking at Refuge

Parking at Refuge

We look forward to our times of gathering (on Sunday mornings, or for events during the week). With our location in Downtown, we want you to know about parking options that are available.

The city of St. Cloud is enforcing street metered parking in downtown 24/7. You will need to feed the meter (or pay for parking on the city parking app) to park on the street.

Thankfully, the city does not enforce parking in select lots and parking ramps starting at 5:00 PM and weekends. There are plenty of free parking options available close to The Regency.

Click here for a map of free parking options (nights & weekends) near The Regency in Downtown St. Cloud.

Jesus loves Thomas and Mary and John—the three people we meet in John 21 who encountered Jesus in real and tangible ways. Jesus met them right where they were at. They all saw and believed.

And yet, Jesus loves you as much as He loves them. He says Himself that there is a special blessing for those who have not seen and yet still believe. He freely gives a special blessing—a gift of faith—for those who have not seen, but who have heard God’s word. And that’s because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

We have the blessing to open the Bible week after week together, and day after day with Him to read the things that were written so that we can have the hope of resurrection and the help to find faith in Him.

In the pages of the Bible, we encounter the One who can forgive us, the One who loves us, the One who tells us the truth, and the One who gives us purpose.

These things have been written…”that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” (John 20:31)
