The "Havelock Cherry Point Ministerial Association" or HCPMA is non-profit incorporation that consists of participating U.S. Navy Chaplains from MCAS Cherry Point, 2nd MAW, and multi-denominational Christian churches from the Havelock and Harlow area. These entities choose to affiliate with each other in order to bring ministry needs to the off-base military and civilian communities that normally could not be accomplished by one church alone.
The purpose of the HCPMA's Outreach Food Pantry is to share the love, hope, and good news of Jesus Christ through:
1) Spiritual support through Christian ministry
2) Physical support through Hunger Relief efforts
Through the dedicated volunteers at the Outreach Food Pantry (East Plaza Professional Center, Suite #20, 925 East Main Street, Havelock, NC) much is accomplished for the spiritual and physical needs of residents of Havelock and Harlowe who require that "extra lift" when the need arises.
The food pantry requested pantry item of the month is mayonnaise. They have requested 48 items.
