Dear Men of FPC,
Next Friday and Saturday we have a men's retreat scheduled, and I want to encourage you all to consider attending. I’m planning on being there and am looking forward to connecting with real people again. I’ve spent too much time interacting on screens these past couple years. A few minutes of social time on Sunday morning has been great but not quite enough. Also, there have been a lot of new people coming to First Pres over the past few years and I’d love for them to get to know and be known by those of us who’ve been around a while. And, let’s face it, many of us probably need to get reacquainted. I’m excited about having some unhurried time for us to catch up. I realize that men-oriented events can get a little goofy, but I want you to keep an open mind about this one. We’ve got a good group of folks organizing it, and I don’t think any of them even own a loin cloth! I think that it will mostly be about creating some space for us to socialize, worship, and encourage one another. If you have signed up, thank you - I’m excited to spend time with you. And if you haven’t, please at least give it some thought. I’d hate for you to regret missing it and then have to wait for the next one. Hope to see you there!

Thank you to all who helped with the Deacon Easter Baskets in sharing the love of Jesus Christ this year. With your generosity and support, we were able to give out 70 baskets to those in need this Easter season. A special thanks to the students at The Cor Deo school who helped raise over $400 in support for this event!
