El Camino Real's First Annual Spring Renewal Was A Success!

" A great speaker with wonderful insight."

"Very well done!"

"Really enjoyed the ongoing Q&A and the mix of rich, deep, wondering questions."

The feedback for our first Spring Renewal has been enthusiastic! Everything from our presenter, Bishop Sean Rowe and his message about Adaptive Leadership, to how well the Q&A went is getting rave reviews.

Though the pandemic forced us to hold Spring Renewal virtually this year, there were some participants who appreciated the format as a way to "try on" attending without having to travel.

Some comments say that Bishop Sean's presentations left them feeling energized and loved that his answers to questions provided another perspective on how the Diocese of El Camino Real operates. If you are one of the attendees who really enjoyed Bishop Sean, we have good news! He will be back with us again next year for Spring Renewal!

We had several people say that they are planning to come back next year and bring others from their families or congregations with them! Be sure to mark your calendars for Spring Renewal on April 28-29th, 2023 in person at Sherwood Hall!

New Education For Ministry Summer Sessions Starting Soon!

There are two EfM classes in the northern part of the Diocese of El Camino Real. One is hosted by St. Timothy's - Mountain View on Thursday nights (contact howard.cindy@gmail.com), and the other by St. Andrew’s - Saratoga (contact katy.dickinson@gmail.com) on Monday nights.

Both classes now meet by Zoom because of the pandemic. The cost is $325 per year. Sign up this summer for the next class, to be held: September 2022 – June 2023. The diocesan EfM website is https://www.realepiscopal.org/education-for-ministry/

Episcopal Relief and Development Needs Your Support to Aid Ukraine

Episcopal Relief & Development is supporting Action by Churches Together (ACT Alliance) as it provides critical assistance to support people affected by violence in Ukraine. Working through ACT member Hungarian Interchurch Aid (HIA) and other local organizations, ACT Alliance is providing emergency assistance such as food, shelter, water, and basic supplies to refugees and people displaced within the country.

Donations to Episcopal Relief & Development’s Ukraine Crisis Response Fund will help the organization and its partners continue to provide assistance to people displaced by the crisis in Ukraine.
