Curry says in his Easter 2022 message: “The earth, like an egg, has been cracked open, and Jesus has been raised alive and new, and love is victorious.” Please enjoy Bishop Curry's Easter message, provided above.

Super Spanish: Week 5
Bienvenidos to the fifth week of the Super Spanish video series! To participate in our Diocesan-wide video and to have a chance to win a free Super Spanish t-shirt, upload your video of you saying this week's phrase here. Or, you can send your video via text to 713-392-7725 or email it to Fred Clarkson. You can participate every week for more chances to win and to support the work of Spanish Language Ministries here in East Carolina!

This week, there's also a crossword puzzle to accompany the video themed around shared words between Spanish and English. You can play the crossword in English here and in Spanish here.

We invite you to share with your friends, parish family, and anyone you think would love to learn some Spanish to join in the fun! You can share the Super Spanish webpage, which has information about the series, the videos, and upload information for participants.

UTO Spring Ingathering: May 29, 2022

We’ve all heard that money talks, but do you know what it says? It can say "Thank You" when you drop it into your Blue Boxes each day when you celebrate something you're thankful for to pay it forward. 100% of what we give to UTO is given away the following year to feeding programs, after school programs, offering medical care and more to those in need.

So, what can you give thanks for today that will bless others? Remember, the Ingathering is on May 29th, 2022. Please mail your checks to: Debbie Luke, 96 Baum Bay Dr, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948. For more information, call 252-599-6997.
