The Capital Line South Phase 1 is a 4.5 km extension from Century Park to Ellerslie Road. The project includes:
- An underpass at 23 Avenue.
- Bridge crossings at Blackmud Creek and Anthony Henday Drive.
- An operations, maintenance and storage facility south of Anthony Henday Drive.
- Two new stations: Twin Brooks Station and EllerslieStation, which will be integrated with Heritage Valley Park and Ride.
