Swimming NSW clubs to be inducted into
new Child Safe Scheme
|
|
We believe all organisations working with children should be child safe, and we want to provide children the environment and care they deserve.
The new NSW Office of the Children's Guardian Child Safe Standards are designed to drive cultural change to create, maintain and improve child safe practices.
Building on the Safe Sport Framework already in place, Swimming NSW will continue to strengthen our child-safe culture and procedures at the state level.
Likewise, swimming clubs will be inducted into the new framework over the coming months.
From next week, we'll begin to include some information on the ten Child Safe Standards in each weekly edition of Hot off the Blocks.
