What's next?
This race is far from over - in fact, it is just starting. My opponent and his allies have a head start raising money for their campaign. They raised over $80,000 by January and are working tirelessly with special interests and are bombarding voters with misinformation and exaggerated highlights. This will be 2022's most competitive State Senate race in Colorado and could be the seat that determines the Colorado Senate majority. We have a lot of work to do to win this race.
Over the last four years, my opponent has contributed to the creation of significant challenges for us as a region. The costs of living have increased, our agriculture industry has been under attack and is finding it more expensive to hire staff, oil & gas industries are being pushed away, wolves are on the attack, housing is exponentially more expensive today than it was four years ago, law enforcement and first responders are working harder than ever with less protections in place, our students are suffering, and more...
I want to get us back to affording to put fuel in our vehicles, enjoying the fruit of our labor instead of stressing over lost revenue due to taxes, improving our roads, and trusting our representatives to actually represent our district, not to vote party-line. I look forward to working for our district, not in spite of it.
My track-record of living with honor, acting with integrity, and speaking with truth will allow me to continue to be transparent and consistent. Actions speak louder than words - especially when it comes to collaboration, constituent accountability, and an ability to put results over politics. I will solve problems and achieve positive end results for you, your family, and our communities.
