Hey Norm's Friend -
I don't know what happened, but for some reason this week is QUIET. I noticed last week that my to do list was a little small, but man alive it's crickets. And I'm loving it. Business is going great, don't get me wrong - this month the schedule just landed that I have a super quiet week. So today as I find things to fill my time, I thought I'd share 3 Ideas for a Quiet Work Week.
1. Enjoy It!
What if instead of packing your schedule so you feel "productive" you got stuff done around the house and finally ran those errands you've been putting off? Catch up on those articles you've had tabbed to read for months, and handled that dreaded to do list you should have handled late last year? Next week will be busy for me, so I'm taking advantage of the extra time this week.
2. Prep
What's on my to do list for next week that I can get taken care of this week? What is on my calendar next week that maybe could get moved to this week instead so I have a little more breathing room next week? Take a look ahead to see what you can take care of now for yourself.
3. Go to a Baseball Game
Hops baseball season has started and once a month there's a day game. I LOVE day games - they're the perfect excuse to get out of the office, maybe hangout with colleagues or friends or your spouse and catch up. Have a beer at 2pm and not feel guilty about it, turn that out of office on and enjoy the best of what your local sports team has to offer.
When you find yourself with a less than packed week, how do you make the most of it?
Cheers!
Elizabeth, Norm & Cliff!
