"The seas of bluebells were quite magical, especially when the sun broke through the pale green of the tree canopy, and I had a real sense of people coming alive after a long hibernation: Happy families enjoying the privilege of a new place to explore and a fun pop up cafe." - Rachel Hatfield

After last years success and requests to reopen the woodlands and pop up cafe, we are delight to be able to offer this weekend again. Open for people of all ages to explore these magnificent ancient bluebell woodlands.
Mission EmployAble has been given access for just one weekend to the ancient Crosslane Wood (on Burtons Lane), so that families, individuals, children and grandparents can admire its stunning bluebells.
The Bluebell Walk makes a lovely outing for the whole family, including the dog.
Visitors will be able to wander along a marked path in the woods and buy teas, homemade cakes, hot food and soft drinks from a pop-up woodland café.
All proceeds from the day go to Mission EmployAble, which is raising money, with Chorleywood Cricket Club, for a new pavilion and training café for young adults with learning disabilities, on Chorleywood Common.
