The 126th Boston Marathon
The Boston Marathon is a quintessential Boston experience. It’s the world’s oldest annually held marathon and one of the most prestigious. It’s also a day when the Boston community comes together to celebrate the strength and perseverance of the city. The race starts in Hopkinton and ends in Copley Square in front of the Boston Public Library and the first racers head out at 8:50am. Be sure to stake out your viewing spot early to make the most of the experience, Cleveland Circle and the Copley Square finish line are two fan favorite spots to watch from.
The home team is back for a new season at Fenway Park! The Red Sox will play their first home game of the season on Friday, April 15 against The Minnesota Twins. Red Sox season doesn’t just represent another chance to win a championship (though we’re not called Title Town for nothing!), it also represents the blooming of the Fenway neighborhood for summer fun. As warmer weather comes through, concerts, block parties and Fenway Franks all come into play.
