This summer, the Community Art Center opens its doors to the public with a fresh mission and exciting suite of opportunities and experiences for all learners, levels, and abilities. Enjoy our youth Art Academy, pottery workshops, music lessons, art talks, bilingual family days, classes for teens, community exhibitions, and more.
Our doors are open for everyone to create, connect, and revel in art. Please visit, sign up for a studio class, join a public art tour, meet new folks, and become part of the vibrant art beat and Community Art Center family.

Adult Visual Art Programs
Learn and engage through programs designed to spark curiosity and inspire your inner artist! Try out an Evening Drawing class or join a Mixed Bag Art Talk on the first Thursday of every month. Stay tuned for additional summer classes, including The Art Of…, a series of hands-on-workshops where participants can sample a variety of artforms taught by experts in the community.
Community Art Center Open House
Join us on Saturday June 4th from 2:00 – 6:00 pm for the Community Art Center Open House and a “Better Together” Mural Project Kick Off featuring art making, live demonstrations, music, a food truck and more.

Trust our Explorer team to care for your little one while you work out! Your kids will look forward to a new theme each week to enjoy learning, crafts, sensory table, and movement & music.
Little Rec programs are for ages 1 to 7 years old. Junior Rec programs are for school aged children 5 to 11 years. Programs include Indoor Playground, Little Bakers, Junior Rec Club, and more.
Older Adults will find social, wellness, fitness and road trip opportunities. Board games, Bingo and Bridge are favorites. Expert fitness instructors are prepared to meet your fitness needs.

Little Demon Soccer
Little Demon Soccer is an introduction league for participants 5 & 6 years of age. Our league uses a 4v4 format of play to create a fun, engaging first soccer experience.
Youth Baseball/Softball
The Roar Fork Valley Baseball/Softball League is for athletes 7-12 years of age. Glenwood Springs teams will compete against other towns throughout the Valley.
Little Demon T-Ball
Little Demon T-Ball is an introductory league for participants 5 & 6 years of age. This program is an opportunity to expose your child to the fundamentals & rules of baseball in a fun, engaging experience.
Colorado Free Fishing Weekend
The fish are starting to bite! Take advantage of the Colorado Parks & Wildlife Free Fishing weekend June 4 & 5. Need a pole and tackle? Borrow from our Gear Library!

Be on the lookout for new spring plantings and pots in the downtown area as our maintenance crews are hard at work sprucing everything up to prepare for the warmer weather in our public spaces.
Trails & Open Space
