Astonishingly glowing reviews

A new independent film from A24 is getting reviews from both audiences and critics that are rare in their enthusiasm and praise. Even people not normally disposed to sci-fi, fantasy, high-action films are loving EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE. Critic Alison Willmore suggested one reason for this success in New York Magazine/Vuture: "Everything Everywhere All at Once may be a kaleidoscopic fantasy battle across space, time, genres, and emotions, but it’s an incredibly moving family drama first."

Speaking of families, they flocked to theaters last week for SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2, which topped national box office reports. We're keeping it for another week, and we're bringing in the latest from the Harry Potter world, FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE.

"No other film series works in such intricate, multiple-installment arcs, planting details that will almost certainly pay off in forthcoming chapters."

Stand with Ukraine through Film: Project Update

On March 13, one month ago yesterday, we premiered the Ukrainian film THE GUIDE at Cinema Salem. Many of you attended the screening, along with Gov. Charlie Baker, Cong. Seth Moulton and Mayor Kim Driscoll.

The event could hardly have been more successful, raising around $12,000 for aid to Ukraine and garnering significant press coverage. But it was only the beginning of the project, "Stand with Ukraine through Film." Watch your inbox for a report on what has happened in the first month of this project that you, our audience, helped to launch. We're excited, and we think you will be as well.
