Dear People of the Empty Tomb,
As I write this note Thursday at noon, the wind is howling outside. And it’s a hive of activity in here! Volunteers helping neighbors with groceries, a film crew shooting a movie upstairs, Bill T. crawling around the church making electric and lights work, Alex preparing the many bulletins for all the services leading up to Easter worship. Just minutes ago, I saw two Noon Run friends for the first time in more than two years, and now the memories are flooding back—their journeys and mine.
For many, this Holy Week will be the first time attending worship in person for these Holy Days since before the pandemic began. Each service is special in its own way, and of course we always bring our memories of years past with us, too.
Good Friday Neighborhood Walk. 11am; meet in lower level of the church.
Good Friday, 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. The Seven Words of the Cross. We witness and remember the death of Jesus.
Saturday Easter Vigil, 6:30pm on the lawn for fire, then Sanctuary for worship.
Easter Sunday: Potluck breakfast at 8:30; Festival Worship at 10am.
May God bless you as we journey through suffering and death to the promised Resurrection,

pack bags of groceries, and distribute goods.

- April 29th: Chant Claire Choir Concert in the sanctuary. Time and ticket information to come soon!
- May 1st: Chant Clair Chamber Choir joins us in worship!
- May 11th: Bingo Night at Hamburger Mary’s. Proceeds go towards Redeemer’s capital campaign.
- May 15th is Bee Sunday! A crew from PBS will be visiting Redeemer, please attend if you are able.
- June 2nd at 6:30pm: Redeemer hosts the Greater Milwauke RIC Pride worship!

- If you have an old iPhone that is no longer in use and would like to donate it to Redeemer, please call contact Alex. We are looking for iPhones with working cameras to use for the livestream.

- The Journey Support Group for women who live with PTSD or C-PTSD will meet from 1:00pm-2:30 on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month beginning April 12th at Redeemer in the library.

- Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. It is a designated evidenced-based program. The group will meet at Redeemer Wednesdays starting April 13th-June 1st from 6:00-8:30pm.
