Honorary Doctorate Recipients Announced for Commencement 2022
Lalah Hathaway, James Newton Howard, and Chuck Rainey will receive honorary doctorates at Berklee College of Music's 2022 commencement. The ceremony will be held in person for the first time since 2019 on Saturday, May 7. Boston Conservatory at Berklee will honor Thomas Wilkins and Brian Stokes Mitchell at this year's commencement ceremony. Executive Director Cathy Young will present honorary doctorates in person to Wilkins and virtually to Stokes during commencement proceedings on Saturday, May 7. Music Execs Meet the Industry’s Future at Career JamMusic industry leaders from all over the country gathered at Berklee this month for Career Jam, an annual professional development event connecting students with accomplished artists, producers, record label executives, and social media creatives. Beyoncé Ensemble Presents Epic Two-Night Signature Series ConcertLed by Tia Fuller, a Grammy-nominated former member of Beyoncé’s band, the ensemble paid homage to the singer's iconic Homecoming performance. 2022–2023 Continuing Student Housing ApplicationThe 2022–2023 on-campus housing application is still open for continuing students who are interested and have not yet applied. Summer StorageBerklee has partnered with New England Student Services to provide a range of services including micro-fridge sales and rentals (including drop-off and pickup) and storage solutions. A portion of the sales are shared with the Housing and Residential Education team to support social and educational programs in the residence halls. Commencement 2022Students participating in a commencement ceremony this May received an email the week of March 21 with information about tickets and the process to request additional tickets.
