Upcoming Resources for Earning your Incentive

Invitational Challenge
We encourage employees to get moving this spring with the Invitational challenge. In this challenge, teams compete against each other for the most steps or minutes of exercise. Registration for the Invitational Steps Challenge runs April 13 - May 3. The Challenge runs May 4 - June 7.
Completing the Invitational Counts as your wellbeing activity in the Well Wisconsin Program.

Kindness at Work Reminder: Caring for the Environment
For the month of April, Random Acts of Kindness encourages everyone to focus on caring for the environment. Employees who participate in at least 21 kindness, self-compassion or well-being activities from the calendar can complete a short survey to receive an employer-sponsored activity code to count toward your well-being activity incentive credit.

Earn your incentive in 2022

The Well Wisconsin program is available to subscribers and spouses enrolled in the State of Wisconsin or Wisconsin Public Employers Group Health Insurance Program via a partnership with WebMD. Participants earn a taxable $150 gift card by completing a health check, health assessment, and well-being activity, except for Medicare Advantage members who can earn incentives through UnitedHealthCare.

Health Information

Alcohol and Breastfeeding

Not drinking alcohol is the safest option for breastfeeding mothers. Generally, moderate alcohol consumption by a breastfeeding mother (up to 1 standard drink per day) is not known to be harmful to the infant, especially if the mother waits at least 2 hours after a single drink before nursing. However, exposure to alcohol above moderate levels through breast milk could be damaging to the infant’s development, growth, and sleep patterns, as well as impair a mother’s judgement and ability to safely care for her child.

Drinking alcohol is not an indication to stop breastfeeding, but consuming more than one drink per day is not recommended.
