The Alabama Legislature passed many bills that impact education this year. Between passing a record-breaking $8.26 billion Education Trust Fund budget and the Alabama Numeracy Act, legislators have demonstrated a commitment to improving education for Alabama students. A+ College Ready Updates: Today 150 Gadsden City elementary teachers met for Computer Science Fundamentals training provided by A+ College Ready in partnership with Code.org. In fall 2022, all Alabama elementary schools will be required to teach computer science in accordance with the 2019 Computer Science Bill. Kudos to Gadsden City for helping to prepare their teachers for this new curriculum!
