PARISH BULLETIN
Easter Sunday of the Lord's Resurrection

This week at Holy Spirit Parish, we enter into the highest holy days of our liturgical year.

Please do consider joining us for one, two, or all three of the solemn liturgies which comprise the single liturgy of the Paschal Triduum. Come to worship the Lord and experience the saving mysteries of Christ's passion, death, and resurrection made present to us again through the sacred rites and rituals of these blessed days.

Fr. Steve and the parish office staff wish everyone a blessed Triduum and a very happy Easter.

Easter Sunday Mass Schedule

IGNITE

Every family needs the support of ALL its members to thrive - and our parish family is no different. To thrive as a parish family, we have many needs that must be fulfilled. It takes the dedication of the whole family working together to fill all of the needs of the parish. Check out the video on IGNITE, a program to support parish vitality by bringing awareness to these unmet needs. Then, take a minute after Mass to view the IGNITE boards at each church. Discern what needs of the parish you are able to help fulfill!

Lenten Almsgiving - LAST CALL!!!
One of the three pillars of Lent is the practice of almsgiving. This can be done in a variety of ways. One way to practice almsgiving is to participate in the parish almsgiving project. This year we will be supporting two local initiatives - People in Need and Dubuque Rescue Mission. Please be generous in your giving. You can use the pre-labeled envelopes available at the entrances to our churches or return your contribution to the office or in the collection in an envelope marked "Almsgiving Project."

Please remember that if you are staying home from Mass due to illness or are otherwise looking to enrich your prayer life, make sure to check out our parish YouTube channel. There you can find live-streamed Masses as well as Morning Prayer, Night Prayer, and Adoration.

Archdiocesan Synod Survey Update
Nearly 16,000 households participated in the Archdiocesan Synod Survey on parish vitality. This far surpassed our expectations.

Your honest and constructive input will help map the plan as we work to ensure strong parish vitality in the years to come. Thank you to all those who participated.

We are now working to analyze the wealth of information provided by all who participated. A report to the archdiocesan family will be sent to all households later this spring.

Please continue to pray for all involved in this important undertaking that the Holy Spirit will direct their work.
