Events Recap

TAP-SF Hikes: Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park

For our latest hike, we visited the East Bay and hiked at Dry Creek Pioneer Regional park in Union City. After our morning trek, we ended with a brunch at a nearby restaurant.

Missed this hike? Join us for our next one (details below)!

TAP-SF Volunteers: At the Food Bank

Thank you to those who came out on a Saturday to volunteer at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and prepared bags of fruit for the community! We hope our volunteers found the experience to be FRUITfull and FRUITfilling. Afterward the volunteer session, we visited a local Taiwanese tea shop to chat and connect further with one another.

Health and Wellness: Tea Talks

Thank you to everyone who came out on a sunny Sunday afternoon to meet and connect with others over warm beverages and conversation cards. We ran through 250+ topics across our five tables, ranging from what we value in a friendship to whether toilet paper rolls should be put over or under. Shout-out to TASA at Berkeley for also joining us!

Based on popular demand, Tea Talks will make another appearance in the future at other locations around the Bay Area, so we hope to see you then!

Film Discussion with TAP-SF: American Girl

We had such a great time at our film discussion event on American Girl! Thank you to everyone who attended, shared your experiences as Taiwanese-Americans as they related to the film, and commented on things that stood out to you throughout the film. It was an enlightening conversation on identity, culture, and family relationships.
