SUBJECT: ILAS launches new program to aid mathematicians affected by conflicts
The Board of Directors of the International Linear Algebra Society launched a program to offer financial help to researchers in Mathematics with connections to Linear Algebra around the world who are affected by wars, oppression, or persecution.
The program is named "ILAS Grant Program in support of Mathematicians working in Linear Algebra affected by conflicts" and calls for applications of affected persons for a grant of up to $1,000.
