Summer Camp Opportunities for All Ages and Abilities

The text, "Summer Camp," written on a chalkboard Summer is quickly approaching! The good news is there are a variety of opportunities to help your children stay engaged and continue learning during the break from school.

We've compiled a list of both in-person and virtual summer camp activities and enrichment programs for youth of all ages and abilities.

Our list includes daily adventures, arts and crafts, sports camps and condition-specific programs.

Our events calendar shows the activities listed by date. You can also search for programs in your area by clicking on a regional office near you.

Please note that program deadlines vary, and some camps fill up quickly.

For more virtual learning and educational resources for youth, visit the Childcare, Learning and Education Tools section of our COVID-19 Resource Directory

Know of an in-person or virtual summer camp opportunity to add to our list?

Send us the details at dscc@uic.edu. We'll continue to update our list of camps and activities, so please check back often.

DSCC's FY 2021 Annual Report is Here

Fiscal year 2021 (July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021) was our first full year of operating during a global pandemic.

Our Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) team found ways to stay connected to one another and to the families we serve as we worked almost entirely remotely.

We partnered with state agencies and organizations to make sure the needs of the state’s most medically complex children and adults are at the forefront of pandemic planning and response efforts.

We shared the latest health guidance and resources about testing, vaccines, assistance programs and more to help all Illinois families. We also continued to improve the strength of our programs and the quality of services for participants.

Our team served more than 17,400 Illinois families through our care coordination, resource information or referrals.

We are proud of our team's collective resilience, problem-solving and dedication to our participants.

We hope the 2021 Annual Report is a helpful guide for how we partner, help and connect to improve the lives of children and families.
