What a beautiful Easter Tridium we had ! What a beautiful Easter Mass!
Praying together and then eating together, the traditional Easter Lunch was really back again! Hope you enjoyed it, and have been able to get to know each other better.
You may continue getting to know each other in this Easter Week by praying and walking together coming Saturday (April 23), since there will be a pilgrimage on foot from Renkum to Rhenen for young people (so especially for you). Organized by by Carlos, Luigi and Maurizio.... just see below for more information.

On April 24,there will be a blossom pilgrimage in Renkum (especially for children) and the feast of Divine Mercy will be celebrated in Bennekom. Furthermore on Wednesday April 27 we will celebrate our king's birthday with a Holy Mass in Wageningen. Last but not least, the English Alpha Course has begun again; perhaps you can still join.

On Sunday April 24 the feast of the Divine Mercy will be celebrated in our church in Bennekom.
The program will focus on world peace and the victims of the war in Ukraine
Onset 15:00 (Rosary, Eucharistic celebration, Adoration and opportunity for confession)
Closing 17:00 (Coffee/Tea afterwards)

For young and old (but especially for children)
With a procession and a guest choir (which one is still a surprise !)
Onset: 15:00

The pilgrimage begins with a short prayer service in the church during which Maria hymns are sung.
This is followed by a procession through the Rosarium Mariae.
Then the blossom branches are placed with Mary and the procession is closed.

Kings Day, April 27
On April 27, our king Willem Alexander will celebrate his 55'th birthday in Maastricht.
As usual there will be a Holy Mass at 9:00 on this Wednesdaymorning, but now with a little royal edge !

Alpha course; invitation
A new alpha course in English has started in our parish last monday.
You can still join this course, which will be mainly online on monday evenings.
There will be appoximately 10 meetings on different topics about faith and christian life.

April 27 Wednesday King's day, celebration of the birthday of our king
May 04 The Netherlands commemorates the victims of war
May 05 The Netherlands celebrates the fact that we live in freedom
The date of the canonization of the patron of our parish, blessed Titus Brandsma is known !
On May 15, "World War II martyr Titus Brandsma" will be declared saint, together with two other blessed.
Don't know if from then our parish will be called the Saint Titus Brandsma Parish ?
Perhaps this even means that logo, names of internetsites and addresses have to be changed ?
Well, these are all possible practical consequences of something beautiful.

Special Mass for the young (Dutch and International) people of our parish On that day, May 15, we will a special Holy Mass and afternoon program for the young (Dutch and International) people of our parish Blessed (then Saint?) Titus Brandsma. Onset 13:00.

Request for volunteers
Preparing / serving / cleaning
We are allowed to drink coffee/tea again after mass !
But before we can drink coffee/tea, it has to be prepared and served.
And afterwards the dishes have to be done, and things have to be cleaned.
So... we need volunteers !

Baking
Before corona, it was tradition that some ICC members (if they felt like it) brought (home made) cookies or cakes with them for coffee/tea.
If you feel like it, don't hesitate to continue this tradition ;o)
